Four great reasons to come to San Diego!
We worked hard to bring you four outstanding talents as our Guests of Honor. Each is special in their field and they all are looking forward to making Conzilla a well-rounded convention.
Guest of Honor Walter Jon Williams is a "science fiction and fantasy writer, scuba fiend, kenpo maven, and fantasy iron chef." He lives with his wife Kathleen Hedges on an old Spanish land grant in the high desert of New Mexico, and is the author of nineteen novels and two collections of shorter works. After an early career as a historical novelist, he switched to science fiction. His first novel to attract serious public attention was Hardwired (1986), described by Roger Zelazny as "a tough, sleek juggernaut of a story, punctuated by strobelight movements, coursing to the wail of jets and the twang of steel guitars." In 2001 he won a Nebula Award for his novelette, "Daddy's World."

Artist Guest Bob Eggleton is a successful science fiction, fantasy and landscape artist. Winner of 7 Hugo Awards and 11 Chesley Awards, his art can be seen on covers of magazines and books. He has also worked as a conceptual illustrator for movies and thrill rides. Of late, Bob has worked doing more private commissions and self commissioned work. He has been elected as a Fellow of The International Association of Astronomical Artists (FIAAA), and is a Fellow of The New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA). His work has appeared on professional publications and books in the world of SF, Fantasy & Horror across the world.

As a professional event planner who has worked with most recent Worldcons, Bobbi is often behind the scenes, to secure excellent venues. Bobbi's an avid sports fan, with an affinity for Port.
Toastmaster Kevin J. Anderson has written 30 national or international bestsellers in 29 languages, holds the Guinness World Record for largest book signing, and just sold 14 books in the space of two months. He had the best paperback SF novel of 1995 by Locus magazine (CLIMBING OLYMPUS), one Nebula nomination (ASSEMBLERS OF INFINITY) and one Bram Stoker nomination (RESURRECTION, INC.).
